Buquet & LeBlanc, Inc. will maintain a SAFETY and HEALTH program conforming to the best industry practices. To be successful, such a program must embody the proper attitudes towards injury and illness prevention on the part of supervisors and employees. It also requires cooperation in all safety and health matters, not only between supervisors and employees, but also between each employee and his or her co-workers.

The Management of Buquet & LeBlanc, Inc. is committed to the safety and well being of every employee and fully supports those involved in enforcement of the provisions of this policy. A safe and healthy work environment is conducive to attaining the high work standards Buquet & LeBlanc, Inc. desires to provide.

The objective of our safety and health program is to eliminate injuries and illnesses at the work site.

To accomplish this objective Bob Lemoine, Corporate Safety Manager for Buquet & LeBlanc, Inc. will:

  • Inspect sites to find and eliminate unsafe working conditions and practices and to control health hazards
  • Train all employees in good safety and health practices
  • Develop and enforce safety and health rules, and require that employees comply with these rules as a condition of employment
  • Provide necessary personal protective equipment and instruction for its use and care
  • Set up a system of recognition and awards for outstanding safety and performance
  • Investigate every safety incident to determine cause and establish corrective measures
  • Enforce the company's Drug Program
  • Train employees on Buquet & LeBlanc's Hazard Communication Program
  • Maintain all required record keeping requirements, and keep abreast of all State and Federal policies
